EXPECTED PATTERN: Rail True and a Good 3 expected. Light winds. Should be suitable for those on pace – rails in run suited – 3/4 off in straight ideal. Hard to come from back and wide turning to win.
THE PLAN: Basically all the value I identified out of the Rosehill market has been sucked out by this morning. There really are no plays worthwhile other than Menari who comes up fairly short odds regardless.

R7 #5 Menari ($2.25) – Beast of a horse that just looks something special to me – better for the first up run and can really put them to the sword here now that he has that fitness edge. Rolls forward and a nightmare to run down.
SUGGESTED BETTING: Use in Multi’s – Preferably Top Fluctuation or Best of the Best if available.

R1 #2 Darhad ($3.5) – #7 Sacher Torte ($3.25) – Darhad resumes here off two trials – has raced in far deeper events to date and drops back to provincial maiden grade. Gets the right run just off the pace and can run well fresh. Sacher Torte also resumes – has trialled up sharper if anything than Darhad. Dragged out of the race on debut and can settle closer here and be strong late.
SUGGESTED BETTING: Use in Multi –
R5 #5 Krystal – Another resuming horse – this time over the 1400m. Drawn terrible and likely to get well back. Can be finishing over the top of these late if conditions allow. Cautious bet as if the track is playing very on pace – this horse is almost out of business. Possibly wait and watch a couple of races before chiming in.
