CANTERBURY EXPECTED PATTERN
Rail out 8m is always a tricky one as it has played on pace and to the inside – but is usually a position you can run on from. So close eye on the day early. Looking for horses close to the pace with cover preferably – giving them the best options.
Just a quick clarification for those who are new to these products. The full sheet staking is a maximum outlay of 11 units per race. Designed to cover a few more bases. The Daily Information is a maximum 6 unit outlay per race. They are obviously just suggested betting options and provide a guideline for people to use or at the very least gauge our confidence level.
R2 #5 Long Time Ago – Promising filly resuming here off some nice trials. She looks to control the tempo here from in front or outside the leader and should have too much upside for these. Miss Que is the query runner – just hoping she misses the kick again.
SUGGESTED BETTING – 5.5 Units Long Time Ago @ $3.30 with UBET
R4 #5 Cudabeen – Originally looked to back two in the race here with So Hard To Catch the other target – but it has simply been off the map since $9.50 went up with the TAB. Cudabeen is left the only runner in a back able price range and is still clear top selection. A very smart filly – she debuted for the Snowden team and could hardly have been more impressive – everything went wrong that could of and she still stuck her head out on the line. Improved for that run and Bowman aboard – only needs even luck to be in the finish here.
SUGGESTED BETTING – 4.5 Units Cudabeen @ $5.50 with Bet365
R6 #3 Multifacets – #6 Reiby The Red – Reiby the Red looks primed to go here for mine. Three solid runs back around the mile range – he has just looked a little dour. Drop in grade here and out to the 1900m looks ideal – he will roll forward into an on pace position and battle on extra well. Multifacets looks the danger – best of the lead up runs for mine and ready to go now.
SUGGESTED BETTING – 4.5 Units Reiby The Red @ $6 with UBET – 1.5 Units Multifacets @ $11 with Bet365
R7 #1 Bolero King – #3 Dorf Star – Bolero King is just better than these for mine – looked a highly promising horse before injured and forced to have well over a year off. Carried plenty of condition first up and put them away easily. Can only be improved by that effort and should run a very bold race here. Dorf Star looks in a similar position – fitter for the run back and gets the right run here to be dangerous. Throwing Wahng Wah and Choice Larga in all Quinellas.
SUGGESTED BETTING – 4.5 Units Bolero King @ $5 with Bet365 – 1.5 Units Dorf Star @ $13 with Sportsbet
